Big coveys such as this are a common sight at Cameron's Quail Preserve. We have tried to enhance the quality of birds that are used on the preserve. By turning the birds out and working dogs on them daily during the off-season, our birds are flying hard and fast by the time the hunters come in. We believe that keeping strong coveys on the hunting preserve is a must.

We believe in keeping things simple. Everything done here is done for quality and competition with the wild birds that the Lord has put on this earth.

There are three things that we try to maintain on the preserve:

A quality hunt with hard flying quail for our hunters.

A quality dog training facility and program, featuring the greatest puppy training available.

We strive to have a clean comfortable, relaxing home-like lodging with the best southern cooking you can find.

We are located right on the banks of the Tombigbee River. The lodge is of cedar logs and has a home-like feel that will put you at ease after a exciting, triger pulling day of quail hunting.

Oyster Ridge is 1600 acres of outdoor paradise located in the heart of the Blackbelt. When row crops began to fade away, pine trees soon took their place on the family farm. Today, there are 1300 acres of loblolly and longleaf pine trees. The rest of the acreage is for foodplots for deer and grain fields for dove, turkey, and quail. We have a lot to offer here at Oyster Ridge. From hunting and fishing trips, birdwatching, four wheeler rides, and youth/business retreats at the cabin. The opportunities are endless. We want everyone to be able to experience the Blackbelt and what it has to offer.
When you step into the bottom below the cabin, you will understand where the name "Oyster Ridge" comes from. It is littered with thousands and thousands of 65 million year old fossilized oyster shells. They truly are a thing of beauty and will make you appreciate the diversity of the Blackbelt and what we have to offer even more.

Cedar Creek Plantation is a family owned and operated hunting preserve located in the northwest part of Butler County. The land consists of about 2000 acres which is adjacent to the Robent Trent Golf Course, Cambrian Ridge. Cedar Creek runs through the middle of the property providing senic views and great wildlife habitat. The creek basin contains the southern reaches of Alabama's Black Belt. This area of rich dark soil is famous for the cotton that was grown on it in the past and for the deer and turkey that are grown on it today.
The land has been enjoyed by our family and friends since the 1930's. Come join us.

We are a small time hunting business that claims to be the number one DOVE hunting destination in the southeast. We have focused on doves for over 30 years. We have around 15 fields in the Faunsdale area that are planted just for doves and are maintained all year long. We have a long list of satisfied customers some of which have been hunting with us since the beginning. We also have deer hunting on a small scale and some duck and release quail hunting. Our facility has double occupancy rooms with private bathroom. All meals are home cooked by my wife and we do all the entertaining ourselves. Your satisfaction is very important to us.

Water Valley Lodge is the destination for outdoorsmen looking for a first class hunting operation. Located in rural Choctaw County, Alabama, Water Valley offers whitetail deer hunting, Eastern turkey hunting, quail hunting and wild hog hunting.

During your deer hunt at Water Valley Lodge, you will find at least four things to be true: we are efficient and organized, our land and game is plentiful, the terrain is varied and we have plenty of great comfortable stands.

Our days start at 4:00am with a cup of coffee and breakfast in the Dining Hall. At 4:50am we move to the Boot Room where your hunting gear is already organized and in storage in a secure private locker. After you are dressed and geared up, step outside the boot room where our custom build 4x4 vans will be waiting. Your guide will tell you where you are headed for the morning hunt and which van to get in and you will be on your way.

Mid morning your guide will pick you up (unless you have made the decision to hunt all day) and everyone will head to the lodge Boot Room, put away gear and guns then enjoy a short rest and some lunch. As soon as that plate of cookies, hot out of the oven hs been served with a tall glass of milk, it should be about 1:00pm and time to head out again for the afternoon hunt.

At dark, the guides will pick up all hunters, assist in locating wounded game and get everyone back to the Boot Room and Skinning Shed. After unloading hunters to the Boot Room and animals to the Skinning Shed, fires will be lit and supper served. The remainder of the evening is yours...join us by the campfire, play a game of pool or cards in the lounge, or retire to the privacy of your room for a restful night's sleep.

Turkey Hunting at Water Valley Lodge offers hunters a unique opportunity to match skills against the wiliest game bird of them all, the Eastern wild turkey.

Hog Hunting at Water Valley Lodge is included on all deer hunts. If one chooses to hunt hogs outside of deer season, the month of February stands supreme. During February it is still cold and the pressure of deer season is overhere is no limit on hogs at Water Valley and the season is 12 months a year. We hog hunt from October 1 to May 1. We do not hunt hogs with dogs at Water Valley Lodge. We hunt hogs from deer stands. We will be there before daylight 'till mid morning on cool days and will start our afternoon hunt in the mid to late afternoon until dark.

Your hog hunting packages includes meals, lodging, on site transportation as well as skinning, cleaning, quartering your kills and packing them on ice for your return home. Our hog hunts are semi-guided hunts.

Upland bird hunting at Water Valley Lodge is another activity that provides lots of enjoyment for our guests. We provide all the elements necessary for an enjoyable hunt; plentiful coveys, well trained, disciplined dogs and experienced guides in a nautral setting.

A Southern picnic lunch comes with both half-day (9:00am - 12:00pm or 1:00-4:00 pm) hunts.

At Water Valley we do not limit the number of birds you may take. Wingshooting is unlimited. At the end of each half day hunt, each hunter will be given 10 Alabama quail, cleaned, packaged and frozen. Our full day hunters will receive 20 birds, ready for your trip home.
Water Valley Lodge offers quail hunting from October 1 through December 23. We resume hunting again February 1 and hunt through March 31.

P-Arrow Plantation has been extensively managed for game and fish for 30 years. Its owners Zina & Drayton Pruitt offer hunting and fishing for individuals or for corporate retreats. It is on 2500 acres.

Located on the P-Arrow is over 100 acres of lakes for largemouth bass, crappie, and bream fishing. The P-Arrow is a prime location for exciting whitetail deer hunting from shooting houses overlooking green fields or tree stands.

Hunters can ride on a Belgian Mule drawn wagon carrying English Pointers and English Setters, or ride Tennessee Walking Horses to experience covey rises of fast flying bobwhites from sedge grass covered pine hills or stream side fields of partridge peas, Egyptian wheat, and corn. We have opening day dove hunts. Private dove hunts and turkey hunts are also available.

For those who simply want an outdoor experience in the old South, nature trails and historic tours are available.

<directions>The P-Arrow is located in Livingston, Alabama, east of I-59 and I-20 halfway between Birmingham, Alabama and Jackson, Mississippi.

The staff at Canterbury Hunting Lodge wants you to have the hunt of a lifetime. There is no better place to share quality time with your family or friends than in the woods on a cool, crisp fall or winter morning or in the spring when the turkeys are gobbling. Our goal is to see that you have that experience in the nice relaxed atmosphere that you will find at Canterbury Hunting Lodge.
We offer deer, turkey and wild boar hunting. If small game is your pleasure, you can combine the above with a squirrel, rabbit or duck hunt. Coyotes and bobcats have been known to show up on occasion. We specialize in small groups of 4 to 6, especially families. Our lodge is a great place to introduce your son or daughter to hunting.
Our lodge includes 1,300 acres of diverse habitat ranging from recent clear cuts to pine plantation to mature hardwood bottoms. We have shooting houses on food plots, as well as stands in wooded areas. Our hunts are designed to allow you to hunt at your own pace and leisure.
Please call us at 334-289-0051 or at 334-217-0595 or check our website at www.HuntCanterbury.com. Available dates can be found on our website.

Fuller Farm has 3000+ acres located in the heart of Alabama consisting of farmland with hardwood bottoms and hill country with hardwoods and pines. The family still has the farm under operation with cattle and hay.

The Ocmulgee Creek runs right through the property so you may find time to do a little fishing for spirited bass or catfish.

This will be the first year (2009) Fuller Farm Hunting Preserve will be opened to the public.

You can have a relaxing stay at the hunting lodge which is setting on the bank of the beautiful Ocmulgee Creek nestled among towering trees. The lodge offers 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, sleeps 10, open room with fireplace, vaulted ceilings, 90 foot porches and down home cooking at its finest. We offer our very own processing house for prized game.

There are shooting houses on green fields as well as ladder stands on hardwood bottoms. Your day will begin with a down home breakfast in plenty of time for you to be positioned in your stand well before daylight. Just prior to noon, you will be picked up and returned to the lodge for more of that down home cooking. You can relax with a short nap and return to a greenfield for the afternoon hunt. Then it is back to the lodge for dinner and bragging rights while relaxing by the fireplace.

Shenandoah is located 5 miles west of Union Springs off Highway 82.
From Union Springs take highway 82 West toward Montgomery.
About 5 miles. You will pass the 193 mile marker on the side of the road.
1/2 mile past the 193 mile marker turn right onto "Wildlife Trail".
Wild life Trail will be on your right going west on HWY 82.
Another land mark is The Sardis church (a small white church) which will be on your left just before you get to Wildlife Trail going West on US HWY 82. "Wildlife Trail" is a gravel road on the right and there is a green street sign that says "Wildlife Trail".
Turn on to "Wildlife Trail" which is a one lane gravel road. Go about 1 mile and pass the first house on the left and a brown wooden fence will begin on your left. The first entrance you come to goes to the Manager's house. Continue straight and the second entrance on the left leads to the horse barn, kennels and equipment shed. Do not enter this gate, but go
straight on to the third entrance and gate. This entrance has a small Shenandoah sign and the road through this gate leads to the Shenandoah guest houses and main lodge. This entrance has an electronic key pad and buzzer. Push the buzzer to ring the main house.

No longer a working cotton plantation, this large expanse of rolling hills, fields and pine forests has been converted into a sportsman’s paradise, complete with exceptional meals and gracious accommodations.

The "main house," built in 1841 for the plantation master, is just a stone-throw away from the old mule barn and the original cotton gin. Scattered about in the pecan orchard are several of the original slave quarters. These historical buildings, along with the century old baptismal found in the woods, make for interesting exploration and dinner conversations.

For most guests, however, it’s the superb hunting and fishing, coupled with equally outstanding personal attention and comfort, which are the keys to Old Spring Hill Plantation’s success. Most guests are amazed to discover this rare blend of modern day game management success coupled with the charm and style of hosts genuinely dedicated to making certain every guest has a memorable time.

Old Spring Hill Plantation is best known for its uncompromising standards of quality. Every aspect of the operation, from the freshly scented towels in each room to the immaculate, well maintained grounds, must meet or exceed the expectations of the most discriminating guest. Catering to both individual and corporate needs, the lodge is designed to provide comfort, relaxation and privacy. Hors d'oeuvres are served at the open bar where guests gather to relax and socialize after their day a field. Delicious meals are skillfully prepared and served family style. Private and semi-private bedrooms are comfortably furnished, each with its own private bath.

Magnolia Lodge was founded in 1991, and we have been on an intensive trophy management program since that time. Our lodge is located in Greene County, and we hunt 5,000 contiguous acres, which lends itself well to trophy management.

Our lodge is newly built (2005) and we have 10 private bedrooms and four baths. The dining room, kitchen and den area is all open, with high ceilings. The interior of the lodge features floors, high ceiling and walls completely of southern yellow pine. There is no sheetrock in the entire structure, and all the pine is naturally finished and quite beautiful.

We only take hunters for two types of hunts: First are our Youth Weekend Hunts, which are the Friday, Saturday and Sunday one week before Alabama gun deer season opens (two weekends prior to Thanksgiving Day).

Our second hunting opportunity is strictly for rut hunts. In 19 years, we have well determined that the rut in our part of the state is between December 24 and January 12. We will only book hunts during that period of time.

With the above two types of hunts only, Magnolia Lodge is able to offer the finest high percentage hunting opportunities available anywhere in Alabama. All meals and guiding are provided and southern hospitality is what you should expect.

Experience true southern hospitality at Cook's Family Farm, with our 6,400 sq. ft. hunting lodge and excellent accommodations we can make your outdoor dreams a reality.

Cook's Family Farm offers over 5,000 acres of privately owned and leased land consisting of pine plantations, hardwood bottoms and fertile creek bottoms. We have harvested between 120 class bucks to 170 class monsters.

Central Alabama is known for quality whitetail deer, Eastern wild turkey and dove, not to mention the long seasons and liberal bag limits. We start hunting in mid March with turkey season, from there we go to dove season in early September then move right to bow season in mid October. We will finish up with gun season from the end of November to the last day in January. Please see the Alabama Conservation page for season dates and bag limits.

We have over 40 food plots with our privately mixed seed. We also have wheat fields, cotton fields, corn fields, and soy bean fields ranging from 40 acres to 100 acres.

Cook's Family Farm provides guides that grew up in the area and are local experts on hunting and scouting deer and turkey. So, with that being said, we expect a high success rate on harvesting the trophy of your choice.
We strive for a 100% success rate in both hunting and camaraderie. So come join us at Cook's Family Farm and enjoy an experience of a lifetime and a memory never to be forgotten.

For many years, the Alabama Blackbelt Region has been one of the the best areas to harvest trophy whitetail deer and turkey. We have recently become a favorite destination for hunters who like to mix the adventure of a whitetail or turkey hunt with the excitement of stalking wild hogs.

Owner John Sherling grew up hunting in these woods and has spent the last 30 years guiding commercially. We are a well-established Hunting Service and have developed a large list of hunters that return to us each year. We hope that you will want to add your name to that list.

In Alabama we are blessed with long seasons and liberal bag limits. Our season begins with bow hunting Oct 15th. Gun season opens in late November to January 31st.

We have a year round game management plan for approximately 5 thousand acres. Our property has been managed to produce superior quality whitetail deer and eastern wild turkeys. And yes, a bounty of wild hogs!

We strive to provide you a quality hunting experience in one of the best hunting environments in the world. Join us for a hunt to remember ... The Memory Of A Lifetime.

Welcome to Sportsman's Paradise! Yellow Creek Ranch offers some of the finest Dove, Quail, Pheasant, and Whitetail Deer Hunting available in Alabama. Yellow Creek Ranch consist of old southern family farms located in the rich Black Belt region of West Alabama where wild game is abundant. Yellow Creek Ranch hunting is dedicated to the 'outdoor' enthusiast. Our property is located near Demopolis in the western part of the state. An area known nationwide for its Deer population, Dove and Duck Hunting. Our property is managed to provide the hunter an opportunity for trophy whitetails and fast flying birds.

Yellow Creek Ranch is located at 2977 County Road 2, within 5 miles of Demopolis, Alabama. The western part of Alabama has perhaps the highest population of wild game of anywhere in the U.S. If you are a Wing Shooting enthusiast, then you have found the right place. Start the season with one of our great weekends of Dove hunting. Doves are plentiful in the corn, milo and sunflower fields. If you are after the big game, then chase one of most sought after game animals in North America, the Whitetail Deer. Our White Tail Deer population is probably the greatest per square mile of anywhere in the U.S., yet our soils provide the minerals to produce trophy class deer.

Game plots are planted each year and include corn, millet, milo, chufas, sunflowers, clover and wheat/oat green fields. This combination provides food all year long for wildlife and the hunting enthusiast more than ample game. Our mineral supplements and food supplements assist our planting in producing trophy class deer.

If you enjoy hunting at it's best, then visit our ranch for a two or three day trip or a day visit. Come enjoy the southern hospitality with some of the finest hunting packages available.

Yellow Creek Ranch....for the Outdoor Sportsman.
