Experience true southern hospitality at Cook's Family Farm, with our 6,400 sq. ft. hunting lodge and excellent accommodations we can make your outdoor dreams a reality. Cook's Family Farm offers over 5,000 acres of privately owned and leased land consisting of pine plantations, hardwood bottoms and fertile creek bottoms. We have harvested between 120 class bucks to 170 class monsters. Central Alabama is known for quality whitetail deer, Eastern wild turkey and dove, not to mention the long seasons and liberal bag limits. We start hunting in mid March with turkey season, from there we go to dove season in early September then move right to bow season in mid October. We will finish up with gun season from the end of November to the last day in January. Please see the Alabama Conservation page for season dates and bag limits. We have over 40 food plots with our privately mixed seed. We also have wheat fields, cotton fields, corn fields, and soy bean fields ranging from 40 acres to 100 acres. Cook's Family Farm provides guides that grew up in the area and are local experts on hunting and scouting deer and turkey. So, with that being said, we expect a high success rate on harvesting the trophy of your choice. We strive for a 100% success rate in both hunting and camaraderie. So come join us at Cook's Family Farm and enjoy an experience of a lifetime and a memory never to be forgotten.
