This plantation offers quality managed whitetail deer hunting in an area of Alabama that is host to the largest population of deer in the state. Great Southern Outdoors is also home to countless flocks of Eastern Bronze Turkeys...and if that's not enough to test your skills, you can also try your luck at the massive wild hogs that free range on the plantation. Driving Directions

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM BIRMINGHAM, AL: I-65 in Montgomery to I-85 toward Atlanta. Take the Taylor Rd. Exit. Turn right on Taylor Rd. Proceed to the dead end. This is Hwy 231. Turn Left on 231 proceed to Hwy 82. Turn Left on Hwy 82 ( there will be an Exxon Station on your left) continue 18 miles (when you see mile marker 190 you have 1/2 mile to go) look to the right and you will see our sign. Turn in and follow the gravel road up to the office. FROM MONTGOMERY, AL: Take 231 South to Hwy 82. Turn Left on Hwy 82 continue 18 miles (when you see mile marker 190 you have 1/2 mile to go) look to the right and you will see our sign. Turn in and follow the gravel road up to the Office. FROM ATLANTA, GA: Take I-85 South to Exit 51 (Hwy 29 to Tuskeegee) Continue through Tuskeegee (when you get to the town square in Tuskeegee highway 29 turns left) on to Union Springs. In Union Springs Hwy 29 intersects with Hwy 82. Turn to the right on Hwy 82 West and continue about 7 miles. (as a marker…you will pass Hwy 22 on your left and you will have less than a mile to go) You will see our sign on the left. Turn in and follow the gravel road up to the Office. FROM South Florida: Take I-75 to I-10 .Take I-10 west to US 231. Take US 231 North Through Dothan, AL and Ozark, AL continue to the Brundidge cut-off (Hwy 93). Turn to the Right on Hwy 93, go approximately 10 miles, you will see Hwy 223 on your right. Turn right on Hwy 223, go approximately 21.5 miles you will see Hwy 22 on your Left. Turn Left on 22 and go to the dead end ( approx 3 miles).This will be Hwy 82. Turn Left on Hwy 82 and go less than 1 mile. (you will cross 2 bridges right together, the second one will be Bughall Creek) Look directly to the left and you will see our sign. Turn in and follow the gravel road to the Office.

Allows you 1 trophy buck (minimum 8 points outside the ears; 3 does; 1 hog

Deer - Rifle
November 21 - January 31

Allows you 1 trophy buck (minimum 8 points, outside the ears); 3 does; 1 hog *Ladies and Youth 14 and under receive a $200 discount off all hunts.

Eastern Turkey
March 15 - April 30

Each hunter is allowed 2 mature gobblers per 3 day hunt (no jakes)
