Rolling along the 22,000-acre Dannelly Reservoir, this 236-acre park features a nine-hole golf course with clubhouse, spacious vacation cottages, modern campground with bathhouse and laundry, and a scenic picnic area with a comfort station, tables, grills and pavilions. With fishing so popular in the reservoir, the park also provides boat launching facilities.
Roland Cooper State Park is located near Camden, Alabama (Wilcox County) on Millers Ferry Reservoir. ~ about 130 miles south of Birmingham, Alabama ~ about 75 miles west of Montgomery, Alabama ~ about 100 miles east of Meridian, Mississippi
Merge onto I-85 S via the ramp on the left to Birmingham/Mobile. Take the exit onto I-65 S. Take exit 167 to merge onto Selma Hwy/US-80 W toward Selma. Continue to follow US-80 W (37 mi). Turn left at Co Rd 67. Continue onto Co Rd 145/Dallas County 145. Continue onto Industrial Dr. Turn left at AL-41 S (27 mi). Slight right at Gladney Rd. Take the 1st right onto Co Rd 43. Turn left at Deer Run Dr. Destination will be on the left.
