Whitetail Deer
Enon Plantation offers the highest caliber whitetail deer hunting in Alabama. In 1991 the plantation began intensive deer management of its 12,000 continuous acres in an effort to provide an exceptional site for bow hunting. Every effort is made to ensure a perpetually flourishing habitat for our deer herd. Our guides know the land and the deer. They care about our hunters and work hard to make sure each guest has an opportunity to harvest that long awaited buck! We take a maximum of 9 guests per hunt. Each hunt is divided into groups of 3 and paired with a knowledgeable guide. Your guide will choose stand locations based on wind direction and the most recent scouting information. Come see what we mean by "Enon, the Land of Many Springs and a Multitude of Bucks!"
Bobwhite Quail
Enon plantation offers true plantation style bobwhite quail hunting to discerning wing shooters. Intense game management of over 10,000 acres produces the type of hunt our guests both enjoy and expect. Open stands of pines with thick brush, feed lines, sagebrush, ragweed fields and partridge peas provide the perfect habitat for quail to flourish. Choose from early release quail hunting by horseback and mule drawn wagon or liberated quail hunting by jeep. Six champion pointers and setters will be eagerly awaiting your day in the field. Knowledgeable guides handle these quality, well-trained pointing dogs year-round to ensure that your quail hunt is one that will not soon be forgotten. The excitement of a covey rise and hunting with good friends with a great brace of dogs creates a feeling to be savored for a lifetime. Join us for your next bobwhite quail hunt for an exciting day in the field.
Eastern Wild Turkey
Enon Plantation offers a select number of turkey hunts each spring. This limited number of hunts ensures you maximum opportunity to harvest one of the most wary game animals in the country. Skilled guides will lead you through the turkey hunting experience of a lifetime. Arrive the evening prior to your first morning's hunt ready to meet your guide and hit the trail. Or, for the more experienced hunter, request to be left at your destination for a private pursuit of that big gobbler. Enon's springtime turkey hunting is indeed a thrill! Gobbling at daybreak by some of the finest long beards in the southeast is truly a sound to be heard and sight to be seen!
